Neon Pets are some of the most popular and visually stunning Adopt Me! pets available in the Roblox game Adopt Me!. First introduced in July 2019, these glowing pets are created by fusing four Full Grown pets of the same species inside the Neon Cave. The result is a single pet that glows in specific parts of its body, such as the ears, tail, or paws, depending on the species. Each Neon Pet has a unique glow color, adding even more personality to your collection.
Creating a Neon Pet requires time and dedication. Players must first raise four identical pets to the Full Grown stage. This is done by completing tasks that move the pet through different aging levels: Newborn → Junior → Pre-Teen → Teen → Post-Teen → Full Grown. Each task completed helps the pet grow, and the rarer the pet, the more tasks it needs. For players looking to speed up the process, Age-Up Potions can be used to instantly grant 30 tasks. You can also trade with other players to acquire Full Grown pets more quickly.
Once you have four Full Grown pets of the same type, head to the Neon Cave. Around the glowing platform inside, place each pet on one of the four circles. When all pets are placed, they will combine into one Neon Pet, instantly glowing with vibrant light. If one of the pets used has Fly or Ride abilities, the Neon Pet will inherit those as well.
The aging process doesn’t stop at Neon. Neon Pets can continue to grow through special stages, just like regular pets, but with different names:
- Reborn (equivalent to Newborn)
- Twinkle (Junior)
- Sparkle (Pre-Teen)
- Flare (Teen)
- Sunshine (Post-Teen)
- Luminous (Full Grown)
Once a Neon Pet becomes Luminous, its friendship level can continue to increase without limit. If any of the original pets had built-up friendship, it will carry over to the Neon version, making it easier to continue progressing.
Not all adopt me pets can become Neon, though. Pets like the Pet Rock (not to be confused with the Rock), Scoob, Pumpkin, and 2D Kitty are excluded from the Neon fusion process.
For players looking to go even further, four Luminous Neon Pets of the same species can be combined to create a Mega Neon. These pets glow just like Neons but cycle through the colors of the rainbow, making them some of the most admired and valuable pets in the game.
