Top Overall Players in NBA 2K23

NBA 2K23 ratings are finally here. Who could be at the top of this year's NBA 2K23 ratings? Here's the list of the highest-rated players in the game:

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo - 97 OVR
 

The 27-year-old two-time MVP and one-time NBA champ with the Milwaukee Bucks sit at the top of the mountain in NBA 2K23 with a 97 OVR. If you want to use him in MyTeam, you'll need to pay a lot of NBA 2K23 MT. Don't worry, and go to u4gm.com!

2. LeBron James - 96 OVR

LeBron James is a 96 OVR player in NBA 2K23. The King finds himself in Year 20, but James' ability will not be denied despite his age and the general disarray of his Los Angeles Lakers.

3. Stephen Curry - 96 OVR

Steph Curry is a 96 OVR in NBA 2K23. He and the Golden State Warriors are back on top of the NBA, but the deadly three-point shooter falls short of the game's top rating this year.

4. Kevin Durant - 96 OVR

Kevin Durant is rated 96 OVR in NBA 2K23. Durant finished his 14th season in the NBA, averaging 29.9 points per game on over 51% shooting from the field.  He also dished out a career-high 6.4 assists per game. There is no question that he is one of the seven best players in the NBA (probably even higher).  

5. Nikola Jokic - 96 OVR

Nikola Jokic is rated 96 OVR in NBA 2K23. He has enjoyed incredible individual success throughout his last 2 NBA campaigns. The Nuggets superstar is now a back-to-back MVP. Although team success has evaded the Joker thanks to various injuries to Nuggets players, they are primed to make some waves, with Jokic aiming to lead the team to some playoff success next season.

6. Joel Embiid - 96 OVR

Joel Embiid is rated 96 OVR in NBA 2K23. A season ago, Embiid finished runner-up in MVP voting behind Jokic for the second straight year. The 28-year-old averaged a league-leading 30.6 points per game (61.6 percent true shooting), 11.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.1 steals. Now, the 2K rating highlights his status among the best of the best.

7. Luka Doncic - 95 OVR

Luka Doncic has a 95 OVR in NBA 2K23. After leading the Dallas Mavericks to the 2022 West Finals and pulverizing the regular season-best Phoenix Suns in the Conference Semis, the 23-year-old Doncic cemented himself as a big-time performer and a generational basketball superstar the league has ever seen. 2K isn't ready to rank Luka next to the old guard yet. That moment will probably come soon enough, but it will take another year.

8. Kawhi Leonard - 94 OVR

Kawhi Leonard is rated 94 OVR in NBA 2K23. He was selected to play in 5 All-Star games. He has won 2 Defensive Player of the Year awards, 2 Finals MVP awards, and 2 NBA championships. Leonard missed last season due to his torn ACL in his right knee, so his rating decreased, but he still got a 94 OVR.

9. Ja Morant - 93 OVR

Ja Morant has a 93 OVR in NBA 2K23. Ja Morant averaged 27.4 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.7 rebounds in 57 games in 2021-22. He was selected to play in his first All-Star game and won his first Most Improved Player award.

10. Jayson Tatum - 93 OVR

Jayson Tatum has a 93 OVR in NBA 2K23. Last season Tatum made his third NBA all-star appearance, averaging just under 27 points and 8 rebounds in 76 regular season games. The Boston Celtics star shot 45% from the field and 35% from deep.

11. Jimmy Butler - 93 OVR

Jimmy Butler is rated 93 OVR in NBA 2K23. Butler is coming off a season where he led the Heat one win of the NBA Finals, losing to the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals. Butler had one of the best series in the Heat playoffs series, including a 47-point, nine-rebound, eight-assist, four-steal performance in Game 6. He had the best season of his career and was rewarded by being named Sixth Man of the Year.
